bbc lottery is it true a scam?
Scammers are internet fraudster that use false
information, statement and claims to dupe innocent people. Scammers will like
ask for your contact information and credit card or bank information, will send a send
containing an information you already know.
This scammers will send information to you from
a company that you already know or a program, event you already know, they will include in
your the email text, links, website, or
url to trusted source just to delude you.
for example if it’s a lottery, a
promo etc they will include a link to the website of the real company you
trust. All this tricks are aimed to make you trust them. read
how scammers operate
The lottery scam I wanted to unveil is the bbc
lottery scam, though bbc lottery is real , but internet fraudsters are using
this opportunity to mislead people in
order to take away their hard earned money. If you are a lottery fan, you know
that you must buy a lottery ticket before entering the contest talkless of
winning it, therefore if you know you haven’t bought any ticket from BBC lottery
just ignore any winning email you saw in your inbox.
BBC National Lottery Board has stop sending
winning news to successful contestant via email; therefore if you receive any message
in your inbox that you have worn a lottery just ignore it.
In real lottery contestant are urge to log
into the website and check their winning status, especially if they bought
their ticket via online means. Therefore when you buy a lotto ticket, you will
be provided with a logins, use this login to confirm whether you won or not.
scam lottery emails usually comes with a large
surprise, most of the time it will be that you have worn a $1,000,000 or more,
this will prompt you to reply first and sometime send a processing fee, if you
do this you have lost your money except when you prompt the police, but most of
the time it is very difficult to get back your money, especially if it involve
international money transfer.
Do not click
on any link they may send to you, it may be the hacked version of the website
or hyperlink; it will install some viruses into your computer. Do not send any
personal information to them they will use it to either forge your credit card
or use it still your banking information.
Below is the scam email I received in my spam
box, I decide to share it so that anyone who may receive same message in the future
will take the appropriate measures.
