 Post UME is the examination conducted by respective institution mostly universities to candidates who apply to obtain admission into their respective universities.  Jamb candidate who apply to get admission into individual university are subjected to another intellectual assessment. This examination are conducted solely by the individual universities, the criteria for the assessment of the candidate ability are completely at the discretion of the university only.

 Date, venue and facilities for the whole exercise are provided by the respective universities at their own convenience and standard. Therefore it is not surprising to see some institution organizing a computer based exam while other organizing a paper type, the standard of the questions asked vary from institution to institution.  The date for the examination is not same, it vary from institution to institution. It is the part of effort to frustrate the effect of examination malpractice which is prevalent in our society, it is aimed to ensure that all UME qualified candidates has actually represented their score.
